Global Crossing has added new facilities-based capabilities in key hubs throughout Asia. In addition to ATM and Frame Relay services, the owned- and operated-facilities will enable Global Crossing to offer a higher quality of its enhanced IP VPN service and advanced IP applications, including VoIP, IP Video, and other services to carriers and enterprises.
The new facilities include data communications equipment and co-location facilities in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Additional build-outs will follow in Sydney and Singapore. In parallel, Global Crossing has begun to deploy and activate an on-net IP-based data services capability to ensure the continuity of its global IP offering, complementing its seamless North American, Latin American and European facilities-based network. http://www.globalcrossing.com
