GTT Communications introduced a virtualized Managed Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service via its GTT Envision platform, adding to its suite of network functions available as flexible, on-demand services. Through GTT Envision, enterprises gain access to business-grade internet services that support rapid scalability and seamless integration with other network functions like Managed SD-WAN and Managed Firewall. EnvisionEDGE, the customer premise device, enables the virtualization of these services, allowing deployment directly at customer locations without extensive hardware installations.

Supported by GTT’s EnvisionCORE global backbone with 25 locations across six continents, the Managed DIA service is available worldwide and allows users to adjust internet bandwidth as needed, reducing capital expenses and deployment delays. EnvisionDX, the digital gateway, also offers remote configuration of additional services, allowing enterprises to add functionalities on existing hardware, enhancing flexibility and reducing downtime.

• Virtualized Managed DIA, Managed SD-WAN, and Managed Firewall now available on EnvisionEDGE devices

• Enabled by GTT’s EnvisionCORE backbone, spanning six continents with 25 global sites

• On-demand bandwidth allocation up to 1 Gbps available with no need for hardware replacements

• Service chaining allows integration of third-party firewalls or SD-WAN with GTT’s DIA services

• EnvisionDX digital gateway supports remote device configuration for additional services

“By virtualizing delivery of our global, high-quality Managed DIA services, we are enabling simple bandwidth optimization, greater segmentation flexibility, and enhanced business resilience,” said Tom Major, Senior Vice President, Product Management and Technology, GTT.
