Huawei Launches CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev B — Downlinks up to 9.3 Mbps

Huawei Technologies introduced a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) Revision B Solution, boasting a downlink rate of up to 9.3 Mbps and an uplink rate of up to 5.4 Mbps. Huawei said that with minimal capital investment to upgrade from Revision A, operators will be able to deliver much faster mobile broadband services in data-intensive, delay-sensitive applications such as VoIP, video telephony, multi-media and online gaming.
