Intel Gaudi 3 AI Lands on IBM Cloud in 2025

IBM and Intel are launching Intel’s Gaudi 3 AI accelerators on IBM Cloud, driving a significant leap in scalable and secure enterprise AI solutions, with the service expected to roll out in early 2025. This collaboration positions IBM Cloud as the first cloud service provider to adopt Gaudi 3, integrating it into IBM’s watsonx AI and data platform. The new offering will cater to both hybrid and on-premise environments, aiming to make enterprise AI more cost-effective while maintaining a strong focus on security and resiliency.

By combining Gaudi 3 with Intel’s 5th Gen Xeon CPUs, the partnership seeks to lower the total cost of ownership and enhance performance for enterprise AI workloads.
