Ionstream.ai has selected Juniper Networks’ AI-Native Data Center solution to power its AI managed services infrastructure, focusing on delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure networking for AI workloads. Juniper’s Ethernet-based architecture was chosen after a competitive evaluation process for its superior performance, scalability, and operational simplicity, making it ideal for ionstream.ai’s GPU-as-a-Service and AI infrastructure offerings.

The Juniper AI Data Center solution, powered by the QFX5240 switches and managed through Juniper Apstra, delivers high throughput and low latency connectivity tailored for AI clusters. Its spine-leaf architecture supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2) for enhanced GPU performance, while Ethernet VPN (EVPN) secures multi-tenant environments. Apstra’s intent-based networking and automated troubleshooting capabilities further streamline network management and reduce operational costs.

With Juniper’s Networking for AI platform, ionstream.ai can offer customers lower AI training job completion times, reduced inferencing latency, and improved GPU utilization. The solution also shortens deployment timelines by up to 85% and can reduce operational expenses by as much as 90% in certain cases.

• Technology Choice: Ionstream.ai selected Juniper’s AI Data Center solution with QFX5240 switches and Apstra management.

• Performance Benefits: The infrastructure supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2) and offers low-latency, high-throughput connectivity.

• Operational Efficiency: Apstra’s automation reduces deployment times by up to 85% and operational costs by up to 90%.

• Focus: Ionstream.ai provides both GPU-as-a-Service and on-premises AI infrastructure deployment models.

• Scalability: Juniper has already shipped over 100,000 800GbE ports globally, showcasing its leadership in AI data center technology.

“Juniper provides us with easy-to-deploy, scalable and AI-optimized networking so that we can deliver accessible, first-class GPU as a Service and AI transformation for our customers, however they choose to consume it,” said Jeff Hinkle, CEO of ionstream.ai.
