Jabil has acquired Mikros Technologies LLC, a leading provider of liquid cooling solutions for thermal management. This acquisition equips Jabil with advanced capabilities to support customers in managing the thermal demands of next-generation products in sectors such as AI, energy storage, and electric vehicles. Liquid cooling, a more energy-efficient alternative to air cooling, is increasingly critical for high-power density systems in both consumer and commercial markets.

With over 30 years of expertise, Mikros Technologies has pioneered microchannel liquid cooling solutions that optimize energy efficiency by cooling more than one kilowatt per square centimeter. This proprietary technology will integrate with Jabil’s broad portfolio of data center, semiconductor test equipment, and energy and transportation solutions, enhancing the company’s ability to meet the growing demand for thermal management across various industries. The acquisition positions Jabil to deliver more comprehensive services to cloud service providers, hardware OEMs, and liquid cooling solution providers.

Jabil expects this acquisition to open up new opportunities in sectors that require advanced thermal management, such as data centers, semiconductors, energy storage, and electric vehicles. The addition of Mikros Technologies aligns with Jabil’s commitment to offering sustainable and cost-effective solutions to its global customer base.

• Mikros Technologies specializes in microchannel liquid cooling solutions.

• Proprietary cold plate designs enhance cooling efficiency over one kilowatt per square centimeter.

• Jabil expands thermal management solutions for cloud service providers, semiconductor test equipment, energy, and electric vehicles.

• The acquisition strengthens Jabil’s offerings in the data center and energy storage markets.

Drew Matter, CEO of Mikros Technologies, stated, “Joining Jabil is a tremendous path forward for Mikros Technologies. We can now scale our best-in-class liquid cooling capabilities to meet the thermal demands of the world’s leading brands.”
