This acquisition equips Jabil with advanced capabilities to support customers in managing the thermal demands of next-generation products in sectors such as AI, energy storage, and electric vehicles. Liquid cooling, a more energy-efficient alternative to air cooling, is increasingly critical for high-power density systems in both consumer and commercial markets.
With over 30 years of expertise, Mikros Technologies has pioneered microchannel liquid cooling solutions that optimize energy efficiency by cooling more than one kilowatt per square centimeter. This proprietary technology will integrate with Jabil’s broad portfolio of data center, semiconductor test equipment, and energy and transportation solutions, enhancing the company’s ability to meet the growing demand for thermal management across various industries. The acquisition positions Jabil to deliver more comprehensive services to cloud service providers, hardware OEMs, and liquid cooling solution providers.
