Keysight Technologies has launched its Interconnect and Network Performance Tester 800GE Benchtop, a portable multiport testing platform designed for AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and data center interconnects (DCI). As demand for 800GE Ethernet interconnects grows, driven by advancements in AI and HPC infrastructure, this system offers real-world testing capabilities for manufacturers of silicon chips, optics, cables, and network equipment.

This new system allows users to simulate network traffic and optimize performance testing for silicon, optical, and copper interconnects across speeds from 50GE to 800GE. Its portable design and quiet operation, at only 60 decibels, make it suitable for in-lab testing or transport to customer sites. The platform also supports multi-user, multi-port configurations to maximize test coverage and reduce testing time.

By integrating Keysight’s IxExplorer software for easy management and IxNetwork software for realistic traffic emulation, the 800GE Benchtop system accelerates AI training and simplifies the benchmarking process. This enables faster, scalable testing, supporting the industry’s move toward high-speed, low-latency networks.

• Portable and quiet 800GE tester for AI, HPC, and DCI.

• Multi-port, multi-user platform boosts test coverage and efficiency.

• Supports Ethernet speeds from 50GE to 800GE PAM4 across all ports.

• IxExplorer software offers intuitive management; IxNetwork simulates real-world traffic.

• Accelerates AI training by emulating high-scale workloads and testing “what-if” scenarios.

“Our new 800GE benchtop system represents a significant leap forward in enabling the industry to validate and deploy the next generation of high-speed networks with confidence,” said Ram Periakaruppan, Vice President and General Manager, Network Test & Security Solutions, Keysight.
