Kyndryl and Nokia announced an expanded partnership to offer advanced data center networking solutions for enterprise customers. This collaboration combines Kyndryl’s expertise in managing hybrid cloud and data center environments with Nokia’s secure, high-performance networking technology. The goal is to address rising demands for scalable, low-latency, and secure solutions driven by the proliferation of hybrid IT, AI workloads, and cloud networking.

The partnership introduces Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA) technology into Kyndryl’s AI-powered Bridge platform, enhancing real-time network automation capabilities. This move enables enterprises to optimize their data centers, improve resiliency against cyber threats, and align with regulatory compliance requirements such as the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). Kyndryl also plans to deploy Nokia’s IP routing products, expanding its portfolio of services, which already includes SD-WAN, SASE, private 5G, edge computing, and cloud networking solutions.

Federico Guillén, President of Nokia Network Infrastructure, highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “By combining Kyndryl’s IT expertise with Nokia’s advanced, open, and secure network technology, we’re jointly creating solutions businesses can trust. This partnership makes it easier for companies to modernize their data centers and stay ahead in the AI world.”

Key Points:

• Expanded portfolio includes Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA) integrated with Kyndryl Bridge.

• Solutions address enterprise needs for secure, scalable, and AI-ready data center networks.

• Nokia’s IP routing products and quantum-safe networking enhance Kyndryl’s offerings.

• Focus on meeting regulatory standards like DORA and supporting high-performance workloads.

• Collaboration supports enterprise digital transformation and IT modernization efforts.
