Lawful Intelligence Provider SS8 Acquired by Private Equity Firm

S8 Networks, a provider of lawful intelligence and monitoring center platforms, has been acquired by private equity firm Mill Point Capital. The acquisition is expected to fuel SS8’s expansion into new markets, enhance its AI and data intelligence capabilities, and accelerate product development for public safety, criminal investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Headquartered in Milpitas, California, SS8 specializes in mediation, lawful interception, location intelligence, and analytics software for law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and telecom service providers. With Mill Point’s backing, SS8 plans to scale its operations and introduce next-generation solutions aligned with increasing global demand for real-time, actionable intelligence.

SS8 will continue to operate under its existing leadership and brand. The transaction underscores Mill Point’s strategy of supporting high-growth technology firms that operate at the intersection of data, security, and public-sector intelligence.
