Luxshare-Tech unveiled a portfolio of optical and copper interconnect solutions at OFC 2025, including 1.6T and 800G transceivers, advanced DACs, and PCIe Gen7-ready interconnects aimed at enabling scalable, low-latency, and high-throughput networking infrastructure. These innovations are specifically engineered to meet the performance needs of machine learning clusters, cloud platforms, and high-performance computing systems.

Among the key highlights is Luxshare-Tech’s 1.6T OSFP DR8 optical transceiver built on silicon photonics. This module delivers high-bandwidth connectivity with low power consumption per bit, helping data centers reduce network bottlenecks and meet sustainability goals. Their 800G OSFP lineup includes DPO, LRO, and LPO variants, all designed for robust integration into high-performance networks. Demonstrated in conjunction with Juniper and Keysight systems, these transceivers show exceptional pre-FEC BER performance and system-level validation across Layers 1 through 3.

Luxshare-Tech is also featuring its 400G QSFP portfolio, with VR4, DR4, FR4, and LRO variants designed for Ethernet and IB server connectivity. These modules offer flexible reach, low-power operation, and advanced LRO support for AI and cloud environments. On the copper side, the company is highlighting its 1.6T and 800G active cable solutions, including linear and DSP retimed versions, along with a new OSFP/OSFP-XD DAC cable capable of supporting PCIe Gen7 speeds. These cables improve signal integrity and power efficiency, while future-proofing interconnects for 1.6T+ deployments.

• 1.6T OSFP DR8 optical transceiver using silicon photonics for ultra-high bandwidth and power-efficient AI connectivity

• Full 800G OSFP portfolio with support for DPO, LRO, and LPO architectures; tested with Juniper QFX5240 and Keysight instrumentation

• 400G QSFP solutions (VR4, DR4, FR4, LRO) for scalable IB and Ethernet interconnects with low-power LRO capability

• 1.6T and 800G active and passive DAC cables with real-world demos on Micas TH5 switch; support both linear and DSP retimed implementations

• PCIe Gen7-ready OSFP/OSFP-XD DAC cables offering double lane density and improved signal integrity for future AI data centers

• Demonstrations span optical, copper, and hybrid interconnects designed to optimize performance and power across AI and hyperscale environments

“At Luxshare-Tech, we are pushing the boundaries of interconnect innovation to support next-generation AI workloads and hyperscale data centers,” said Sky Xiong, CEO of Luxshare-Tech. “Our solutions are designed to enable high-speed, low-latency, and power-efficient networking, meeting the needs of an evolving data infrastructure landscape.”
