Meter has introduced a new generative UI product called “Meter Command,” designed to simplify network management for IT and networking teams. Meter Command allows users to interact with their networks using natural language, enabling them to query, take action, and generate custom software solutions tailored to specific needs. This new product combines the precision of command-line interfaces with the usability of modern dashboards, creating a personalized and efficient experience for network management.

With features like real-time data generation, customizable dashboards, and a mobile-friendly interface, Meter Command streamlines routine operations and complex tasks, saving time and resources. Users can execute commands such as creating new SSIDs, troubleshooting issues, and scaling network configurations, all by asking in natural language. Meter Command is set to be available across all current and future Meter Networks at no additional cost this fall.

• Meter introduces “Meter Command,” a generative UI for network management using natural language.

• Combines command-line precision with modern dashboard usability for a personalized experience.

• Supports real-time data generation, customizable dashboards, and mobile-friendly troubleshooting.

• Enables efficient execution of routine and complex network tasks, saving time and resources.

“To be able to turn a complex task into simply asking a natural language question and receiving an immediate response is incredibly impressive. Just today, I was installing a new security camera, and instead of testing and hunting for the right port, I could have just used Command to turn on port 34 in a matter of seconds. That would have saved me 30 minutes on just one task. That level of time saving can be very powerful.” said Manuel Bernal, VP of Technology at Greylock Partners
