MWC25 Barcelona, the world’s largest connectivity event, concluded with a record-breaking 109,000 attendees from 205 countries and territories. This marks an increase from MWC24’s attendance of 101,000. The conference, which focused on AI, mobile technology, and the future of connectivity, featured over 2,900 exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, along with high-profile keynotes that explored the evolving impact of technology on business and society.

The event’s GSMA Ministerial Programme brought together 188 government delegations from 148 countries, along with 66 ministers and 111 regulatory heads. Adjacent industries played a significant role, with 56% of attendees representing sectors beyond the traditional mobile ecosystem. Startups were also a key focus, as 4YFN welcomed over 1,000 exhibiting startups and nearly 900 investors managing a collective €60 billion in funds. Meanwhile, the Talent Arena, co-located with MWC25, attracted more than 20,000 attendees, highlighting the growing demand for skilled professionals in the telecom and tech industries.

GSMA also noted a strong digital presence, with nearly half a million unique views of keynotes and live sessions across multiple platforms.
