Narus to Broaden its CyberSecurity Ecosystem

October 18, 2010

A A

Narus is intensifying its efforts at building a cyber security ecosystem that will enable customers to deploy interoperable products from multiple vendors in a layered approach to cyber security, resulting in the most effective detection and mitigation.

The Narus ecosystem for cyber security, comprised of strategic alliances, technical relationships, and partnerships with leading security companies and systems integrators, provides a holistic approach to cyber security using both loose and tight integration of complementary products and technologies.

One recently announced partnership forged in the Narus ecosystem is with ArcSight. As a certified ArcSight partner, Narus developed a “connector” to ArcSight enabling seamless integration between its NarusInsight system and the ArcSight Enterprise Threat and Risk Management (ETRM) platform.

As part of the effort to build out its cyber ecosystem, Narus recruited Chee Tan as director of business development. Prior to Narus, Mr. Tan was the Director of Business Development for GFI-Sunbelt Software, where he was responsible for growing worldwide OEM revenue and forging strategic business partnerships with technology vendors. He also held senior management positions at Trend Micro, ActivCard and Novell.
