Nokia has selected AMD’s 5th Gen EPYC processors to power its Cloud Platform, a foundational element in delivering next-generation telecom networks. The integration supports Nokia’s push toward high-performance, energy-efficient infrastructure capable of scaling with the growing demands of 5G core, edge, and enterprise workloads. AMD’s EPYC 9005 Series CPUs will serve as the compute backbone for Nokia’s containerized and virtualized deployments.
The collaboration underscores Nokia’s multi-vendor silicon strategy, designed to optimize performance and sustainability across its network portfolio.
