Bite Group has chosen Nokia’s appliance-based Packet Core solution to drive its 5G evolution in Latvia and Lithuania. The deployment aims to simplify network architecture, increase capacity, and enhance the performance of Bite’s core network. By integrating 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies into a single set of servers, the solution is expected to improve business agility and reduce operational costs, while enabling faster delivery of new services.

The Nokia solution allows Bite to offer ultra-reliable connectivity, enhanced mobile broadband services, and advanced solutions like mobile enterprise VPNs. The partnership will also expand Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) capabilities, providing more capacity for home broadband and enterprise applications in underserved areas. Additionally, Bite will implement Nokia’s MantaRay Network Management solution for optimized network monitoring and management, further enhancing service quality.
