NTT and NTT DOCOMO announced plans to showcase their LTE endeavours at the upcoming ITU Telecom World 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland, from October 5 to 9.
The NTT Group stand will showcase wide-ranging exhibits and demonstrations of the latest services and technologies offered in Japan, as well as highly advanced services to be offered over Next-Generation Network (NGN) and super-fast Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile network.
NTT will show optical access technologies supporting NGN, including GE-PON, low-friction indoor optical fiber.
NTT DOCOMO will be showing LTE handsets and services, including the summer 2009 lineup, mobile concierge service, intuitive mobile search and navigation, etc.
