NTT DATA Expands Google Cloud Expertise with Niveus Solutions Acquisition

NTT DATA announced plans to acquire Niveus Solutions, a leading Google Cloud Platform (GCP) engineering firm, to expand its cloud service offerings and strengthen its global position as a Google Cloud system integrator. The deal adds 1,000 GCP professionals to NTT DATA’s workforce, enhancing its capabilities in cloud-native modernization, AI, and data engineering. This acquisition aligns with NTT DATA’s strategy to meet increasing demand for AI-driven cloud transformations across industries.

Niveus Solutions brings expertise in financial services, manufacturing, automotive, retail, and logistics, enabling NTT DATA to offer tailored solutions for specific industries. The acquisition also builds on NTT DATA’s strategic partnership with Google Cloud, focusing on GenAI and data analytics innovations. The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to finalize within 60 days.

  • Niveus Solutions, headquartered in Udupi, India, was founded in 2013 by CEO Suyog Shetty, along with co-founders Roshan Bava, Mohsin Maidin Khan, and Rashmi George. The company specializes in cloud consulting, application and data modernization, and managed services, primarily focusing on Google Cloud technologies. 
  • NTT DATA, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a global IT service and consulting company with approximately 195,100 employees as of 2023. In 2019, NTT DATA expanded its global footprint by integrating Dimension Data, NTT Communications, and NTT Security into a unified entity, NTT Ltd., enhancing its capabilities across various technology services.
