IP Infusion and UfiSpace have joined Fujitsu’s Open Networking Innovation Center in Düsseldorf, Germany, to drive next-generation networking advancements. Fujitsu launched the center in December 2024 as a global hub for open network innovation, multi-vendor collaboration, and the development of scalable, energy-efficient networking solutions. As part of this initiative, IP Infusion will showcase its leadership in Open RAN xHaul and IP over Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (IPoDWDM) solutions. These technologies will run on UfiSpace’s 25G/100G/400G white box platforms, featuring advanced 400G Open ZR+ coherent pluggables and integration with Fujitsu’s 1FINITY Optical Line System (OLS).

Located in a key European technology hub, the Open Networking Innovation Center provides a collaborative environment for service providers, technology vendors, and data center operators to test multi-vendor interoperability and validate All-Photonic Network (APN) functionality. By joining this initiative, IP Infusion and UfiSpace reinforce their commitment to advancing open networking standards and driving sustainable, high-performance solutions. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of disaggregated network architectures, enabling seamless, flexible, and cost-efficient deployments for telecom and data center operators worldwide.

• IP Infusion will showcase its OcNOS network operating system running on UfiSpace’s 400G-capable white box platforms.

• The center enables testing of multi-vendor interoperability and All-Photonic Network (APN) solutions.

• Fujitsu’s 1FINITY Optical Line System will be integrated with IP Infusion and UfiSpace’s technologies.

• The initiative supports open networking, energy efficiency, and disaggregated architectures for service providers.

• Düsseldorf’s Open Networking Innovation Center fosters collaboration between major technology leaders.

“This collaboration with Fujitsu is a significant step forward for IP Infusion,” said Atsushi Ogata, President and CEO of IP Infusion. “Our commitment to open networking aligns perfectly with the lab’s mission to deliver energy-efficient and scalable solutions. Together with Fujitsu and our partners, we’re shaping the future of network transformation with groundbreaking technologies like Open RAN xHaul and IPoDWDM.”
