Pactolus and Common Voices to Jointly Develop SIP-Based VoiceXML Voice Mail and Unified Messaging

Pactolus Communications Software, a provider of SIP-based enhanced service solutions, and Common Voices, a provider of carrier-grade VoiceXML-based telecommunications software, entered into a partnership to license both application and platform level software components to each other. The companies will develop voice mail and unified messaging applications for carriers who are deploying converged network infrastructure or line-side VOIP-based network capabilities. The technology will be based on open standards such as VoiceXML 2.0, SIP, and IP.
