Qualcomm reported fiscal third-quarter 2025 revenue of $10.4 billion, up 10% year-over-year, driven by record automotive revenues and continued strength in IoT. The company posted GAAP earnings per share of $2.43 and non-GAAP EPS of $2.77. Its QCT semiconductor business generated $8.99 billion in revenue, an 11% increase from the prior year, while its licensing business (QTL) contributed $1.32 billion, up 4%.
Within QCT, handsets remained the largest segment at $6.3 billion, up 7% year-over-year, while automotive grew 21% to $984 million, marking a new quarterly record. IoT revenue surged 24% to $1.68 billion, highlighting the success of Qualcomm’s diversification strategy beyond smartphones. Operating margins also improved, with QCT’s EBT margin rising three points to 30%.
The company returned $3.8 billion to shareholders during the quarter, including $2.8 billion in stock repurchases and $967 million in dividends. Qualcomm said it remains on track to meet its accelerated buyback target for FY25.
