Red Hat has announced the general availability of Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift, marking a significant advancement in how enterprises, particularly telecommunications providers, can unify traditional and cloud-native networks. This new release integrates Red Hat’s OpenStack Platform with its OpenShift Kubernetes platform, providing a unified solution that simplifies the deployment and management of both virtualized and cloud-native applications across various environments, from the core to the edge.

The new service offers faster deployment of compute nodes, improved scalability, and enhanced security features, making it a robust option for organizations looking to modernize their network infrastructures. The integration also includes AI-optimized infrastructure, which supports hardware acceleration technologies, ensuring seamless integration for AI tasks. This evolution in Red Hat’s offerings is expected to help telecommunications providers scale their services efficiently, addressing the growing demands of 5G and AI-driven applications.

• Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift now available for enterprise and telecommunications use.

• Provides a unified platform for managing virtualized and cloud-native applications.

• Deploys compute nodes 4x faster than previous versions.

• Enhances scalability, security, and AI integration capabilities.

• Supports modern network infrastructures from core to edge.

“Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift will help provide our customers with a more unified, flexible application platform,” said Chris Wright, CTO of Red Hat.
