Sabey Data Centers has begun construction on Building A, the third and final facility on its Ashburn, Virginia campus. Located in Loudoun County’s “Data Center Alley,” the new three-story facility will deliver 18 megawatts (MW) of leasable power in its first phase, with an additional 36 MW planned for future phases, bringing the building’s total capacity to 54 MW. Once complete, the campus will support up to 85 MW across its 38-acre site.
Slated to be operational in 2026, Ashburn A is engineered for flexibility, supporting air, liquid, and hybrid cooling configurations. It is designed to accommodate high-density workloads surpassing 100kW per rack, making it suitable for enterprise and hyperscale tenants deploying next-generation compute infrastructure. The facility will also become Sabey’s first three-story data center, further enhancing capacity without expanding its physical footprint.
The expansion reflects Sabey’s continued investment in Northern Virginia, one of the world’s most competitive data center markets. The company cites an average PUE of 1.35 across its current Ashburn facilities, emphasizing efficiency and sustainability. Sabey, a joint venture with National Real Estate Advisors, is positioning the campus as a cornerstone of its national strategy to support the growth of the digital economy.
