Senko Advanced Components and US Conec Ltd. have resolved their patent infringement disputes related to very small form factor (VSFF) fiber optic connectors and adapters. The resolution includes the dismissal of all pending lawsuits and administrative challenges in the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Both companies will retain their current patent portfolios covering the disputed VSFF products and will continue to offer their respective products, including MMC connectors by Senko and SN connectors by US Conec.

In addition to resolving the VSFF dispute, the companies have also settled patent disputes concerning MPO products, allowing both parties and their partners to continue providing their respective MPO offerings. The remaining terms of the agreement remain confidential.

• All lawsuits and patent challenges between Senko and US Conec are dismissed.

• Both companies retain their patent portfolios for VSFF products.

• Senko can continue to offer MMC connectors; US Conec can offer SN connectors.

• Patent disputes over MPO products have also been resolved.

• Confidential terms remain undisclosed.

“This settlement allows us to continue focusing on delivering high-quality optical interconnect solutions to our customers without the distraction of ongoing litigation,” said a representative from Senko.
