SoftBank Joins LF Networking as Platinum Member

SoftBank Corp. has joined LF Networking (LFN) as a Platinum member, enhancing the open-source community’s mission to advance digital transformation in telecommunications through shared innovation. As a key contributor, SoftBank will bring its deep expertise in 5G, AI, and edge computing to help drive the development of scalable and intelligent network infrastructures. Ryuji Wakikawa, SoftBank’s Head of Research Institute of Advanced Technology, joins the LFN Governing Board, aiming to co-create solutions that support sustainable and connected digital ecosystems. This partnership underscores SoftBank’s commitment to fostering collaborative, AI-powered network innovation.

SoftBank joins existing LFN Platinum member organizations, including: China Mobile, China Telecom, Cisco, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Google, Huawei, Infosys, Nokia, Qualcomm, Red Hat, Tech Mahindra, TELUS, Verizon, and Walmart.
