Sonus Networks introduced a new set of packet-based enhanced services that are being offered through reseller arrangements with its partners. These new carrier applications for the Sonus voice infrastructure include:

- SMARRT Messaging – a voicemail system combined with unified communications capabilities that integrate voice, fax and email in a single location
- SMARRT Prepaid/Postpaid – full calling card functionality
- SMARRT Call Center – which enables carriers to provide network-based multi-media contact centers to enterprise customer
- SMARRT Conferencing – a state-of-the-art collaboration solution
- SMARRT Voice VPN – virtual private networking capabilities and features over packet-based networks.
