Sumitomo Electric Introduces SFP 6G Series Transceivers

Sumitomo Electric Industries introduced its SFP 6G Series

of fiber optic transceivers for use in a wide range of network equipment applications. The SFP 6G Series is part of the SFP transceiver family, which is fully compliant with IEEE802.3ae, SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel and SFP Multi Source Agreement specifications.

The SFP 6G Series is manufactured in Suzhou, China. Commercial shipments began in April 2008.http://www.sei.co.jp/index.en.htmlhttp://www.excelight.com
