Ikanos Communications announced that its SmartLeap SL9400 solution is powering Swisscom Fixnet’s rollout of VDSL-based IPTV and triple-play services. Ikanos said its silicon provides Swisscom with the ability to deliver up to 60/30 Mbps in short distance deployments and at 20/5 Mbps on longer loops.
