Volo Communications, a next generation wholesale service provider and technology company, has deployed packet voice solutions from Sonus Networks in its nationwide IP network. The deployment includes the Sonus GSX9000 Open Services Switch. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Volo Communications uses softswitching technology developed by its sister company, Caerus Networks Inc. .
