Wilson Electronics has rebranded as Wilson Connectivity, marking its expanded focus on advancing wireless solutions for enterprises and government clients. During Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas, the company introduced a new Private 5G solution, which integrates both Hybrid and Active Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). This allows customers to support both public and private networks using a single, power-efficient infrastructure. The new system is designed to lower costs, improve management efficiency, and provide enhanced control with security based on 3GPP protocols.

Private 5G by Wilson Connectivity enables seamless network integration in both indoor and outdoor environments, offering flexibility and scalability across various industries. The solution includes advanced remote monitoring and management features, allowing businesses to easily control network access and gain real-time performance insights. The integration of RF sources from 150 MHz to 5 GHz further enhances its versatility, supporting diverse applications, including IoT and personal device connectivity.

Bruce Lancaster, CEO of Wilson Connectivity, highlighted the importance of this development: “Combining the power of our DAS solutions with Private 5G is a true game-changer. Now our customers can support public and private networks on Wilson’s unique DAS solution, bringing the benefits of Private 5G to more customers seeking alternatives to Wi-Fi.”

Key Points:

• Introduction of Private 5G solution with Hybrid and Active DAS integration.

• Supports RF sources from 150 MHz to 5 GHz for seamless public and private network use.

• Features include enhanced security, remote monitoring, and real-time analytics.
