Wilson Connectivity has introduced a new portfolio of public safety communication solutions designed to enhance emergency response reliability for first responders. Unveiled at IWCE 2025 in Las Vegas, the UL2524-compliant product line includes the Public Safety 700/800MHz Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA), Public Safety Fiber Distribution system, and Public Safety Battery Backup Solutions. These products aim to improve in-building emergency communications and meet the growing demand for ERCES-compliant systems amid tightening regulatory requirements in the U.S.

The new offerings provide enhanced radio frequency (RF) performance, robust backup power options, and a scalable architecture for complex environments such as campuses and multi-structure facilities. The Public Safety 700/800MHz BDA boosts critical radio coverage for first responders, while the Fiber Distribution solution enables efficient RF signal extension across large sites. The Battery Backup Solutions offer up to 24 hours of uninterrupted power during outages. Each product features remote monitoring and control capabilities for proactive system management.

Wilson Connectivity will begin accepting preorders for the new portfolio on May 1, 2025, with full availability expected in early Q3 2025. All products are assembled in the U.S. to ensure faster shipping and supply chain reliability. The company will showcase live demos and technical sessions at IWCE 2025, booth #1345.

Key Points:

• New UL2524-compliant public safety portfolio includes 700/800MHz BDA, Fiber Distribution, and Battery Backup Solutions.

• Public Safety BDA delivers up to 5W of RF power to boost in-building radio coverage for emergency responders.

• Fiber Distribution system extends RF signals across campuses and large buildings.

• Battery Backup Solutions offer 2-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour UL2524-compliant backup options.

• Remote monitoring and alarming interface included across all products for real-time system management.

• Preorders open May 1, 2025; general availability expected in early Q3 2025.

• Assembled and warehoused in the U.S. for supply chain security and faster delivery.

“In emergencies, communication failures can mean the difference between life and death,” said James Martin, SVP Engineering for Wilson Connectivity. “Our new Public Safety Solutions deliver industry-leading RF performance with up to 5W of power for BDA products, ensuring first responders can maintain crucial communications in the most challenging environments.”
