Yahoo! has enhanced its email service with the ability for users to send real-time text messages to mobile recipients. 
Through this service, users in the U.S., Canada, India and the Philippines can send messages to a mobile phone number directly from their e-mail account. Simultaneously, Yahoo! Mail accounts can receive text messages from mobile phone users.
