Zayo Expands Fiber Network throughout Minnesota

Zayo announced plans to expand its network in Minnesota. The company will extend its fiber network to 1,700 miles throughout Minneapolis, St Paul and surrounding markets in order to enable fiber-based communications for carriers, enterprises and high bandwidth services. As a component of the investment, Zayo will increase its high bandwidth fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) coverage for multiple wireless providers in five Minnesota markets. This expansion adds Ethernet and TDM services to ~350 wireless tower sites and includes connectivity to a new wireless mobile switching center.
