MetTel has become an Authorized Starlink Reseller, now offering fully managed network services worldwide through Starlink’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network. This partnership allows MetTel to provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity for both government and commercial clients, utilizing Starlink’s laser mesh network. Designed to perform in diverse and remote environments, Starlink delivers speeds well over 100 Mbps (0.1 Gbps), making it suitable for high-demand applications such as edge computing, remote monitoring, and real-time data processing.
By integrating Starlink with its SD-WAN technology, MetTel can provide resilient, scalable connectivity for enterprises regardless of location. The new SD-WAN over Starlink service ensures connectivity in metro areas, rural settings, and remote or rugged locations, supporting business continuity even in challenging conditions.
MetTel, a recognized leader in managed network services, has expanded its global cloud network with 20 data centers and points of presence, integrating secure SD-WAN and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions. In addition, MetTel aims to leverage private 5G and Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) spectrum to further expand connectivity options. This collaboration underscores MetTel’s commitment to bridging the connectivity gap for organizations worldwide.
