ADTRAN introduced 
two new switch platforms and a number of new security features for its NetVanta routers and switches designed for vertical markets such as health care, hospitality and retail. The new switch platforms offer 25 watt per port, 802.3at – Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) capability for security applications such as next-generation pan/zoom/tilt IP cameras or other PoE-enabled security endpoints.
The new suite of features includes Security audit tools, desktop audits, Denial of Service (DoS) protection, DHCP network diagnostics, and Cable/Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) diagnostics.
