Allied Telesis has launched eco-friendly versions of its Power over Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet WebSmart Switches.
The newly enhanced versions of the company’s AT-FS750/24POE, AT-FS750/48, and AT-GS950/48 Power over Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit WebSmart switches integrate its ECO-Switch technology to optimize the front panel of the switch by allowing LED indicator lights to power off when they are not in use. ECO-Switch technology embedded in the software of the WebSmart switches automatically turn off LEDs after 15 minutes.
In addition, the switches employ “minimize and measurement” technology to ensure only the minimum power is driven into the shorter cable lengths, to significantly lower power consumption and maintain highly efficient power supplies in enterprise networks.
