Beceem Ships More Than 1 Million WiMAX Chips this Quarter

Beceem Communications announced that it is shipping more than 1 million WiMAX terminal chips in the third quarter of 2009. The company said mobile devices volume shipments are accelerating in the US and Japan markets, Russia, Mexico, Malaysia and many others countries.

Beceem is the major supplier into the Clearwire/Sprint ecosystem, the leading supplier into the Japan market, and the preferred partner for a majority of OEMs and ODMshttp://www.beceem.com
