BellSouth began offering a 3.0Mbps DSL service tier for residential and business customers. The service delivers download speeds of up to 3.0Mbps and upload speeds of up to 384Kbps — which is twice the downstream speed an 50% faster upstream than the company previous fastest tier. The service is priced at $44.95 per month for residential and $89.95 per month for business customers ( includes 5 static IP address and the option for up to 61 static IP addresses optional). Other service bundles are also available.
