China’s Ministry of Railways is protecting its nationwide communications infrastructure, encompassing the Ministry’s headquarters and 18 bureaux, with the Juniper Networks Integrated Security Gateway (ISG) 2000 firewall/VPN with integrated Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP).
The Juniper Networks ISG 2000 is a high-performance integrated security gateway that provides firewall and IPSec VPN performance for Internet applications and multimedia content. It supports security zones and offers various virtualization capabilities. The Ministry of Railways is also leveraging the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) capability of ISG 2000 with the optional Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) security modules.
