CommScope has launched the RUCKUS Edge, a cloud-managed platform that extends its RUCKUS One AI-driven network assurance and business intelligence system to the network edge. The platform allows businesses to deploy and manage services with improved performance, security, and scalability. By integrating edge computing, RUCKUS Edge helps reduce latency and ensures faster data processing, making it suitable for organizations of varying sizes. The new platform is designed to streamline operations with centralized cloud-based management for networking, security, and purpose-built vertical services.

The RUCKUS Edge appliance integrates seamlessly with RUCKUS One, supporting a zero-touch SD-LAN service for simplified deployment. This platform enables businesses to offer services from both RUCKUS and third-party providers, improving the flexibility of network management. Additionally, the pay-as-you-go subscription model offers cost-effective scalability, while AI-driven assurance helps detect and address network issues before they impact performance.

• Centralized cloud-based management through web and mobile interfaces

• Scalable and flexible architecture for diverse organization sizes

• Enhanced security with VXLAN-based SD-LAN service

• Reduced latency via edge traffic processing

• Seamless Wi-Fi roaming within large campuses

• Subscription-based pricing model

• AI-driven network assurance for proactive incident management

“We’re taking a bold step forward by extending the capabilities of our AI-driven network assurance platform, RUCKUS One, to the edge of the network,” said Bart Giordano, SVP, CommScope.
