Data Connection Limited (DCL) will be demonstrating 2547 MPLS/BGP VPNs and automatic network recovery using its carrier-grade IP Routing and MPLS solutions in the Isocore technology showcase at SUPERCOMM 2004. Data Connection’s emulated router will operate in the Isocore network in two locations. It will act as a node in the converged IP/MPLS core, demonstrating rerouting around simulated failures in the core optical network using MPLS fast re-route techniques. It will also provide Layer 3 VPN services, acting as a full 2547 MPLS/BGP VPN edge router.
