Firetide announced a new line of “HotPoint” access points to complement its “HotPort” high performance mesh networks. The new products include indoor and outdoor models and can be used either as stand alone access points or can be connected to a Firetide HotPort mesh network for full integration.
The indoor model features a compact plenum-rated enclosure with optional brackets for wall, ceiling and office cubicle mounting. The outdoor model features a rugged, weatherproof enclosure, high gain antennas, and can receive its power directly from a connected mesh node eliminating the need for an external power supply.
