General DataComm Receives Court Approval to Emerge from Bankruptcy

A U.S. bankruptcy court confirmed General DataComm’s Chapter 11 plan of reorganization, enabling the company to emerge from bankruptcy protection by the end of the month. Creditors will receive payment of 100% of their claims over a five-year period, and shareholders will retain their shares subject to a one-for-ten reverse stock split.
