GTT Communications has expanded its global Tier 1 IP backbone, EnvisionCORE, into nine additional markets across Latin America and Asia Pacific. The new locations—Argentina, Chile, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand—mark a significant extension of GTT’s global reach and bolster its ability to deliver low-latency, high-performance connectivity solutions to enterprises and service providers in emerging and high-demand regions.
The network upgrades, supported by regional partnerships, provide up to 400G capacity to accommodate increasing enterprise traffic and AI workloads. GTT’s EnvisionCORE backbone serves as the foundation for a suite of managed networking and security services, including SD-WAN, Ethernet, DDoS protection, SASE, and managed firewalls. Customers also gain access to the EnvisionDX digital experience platform for real-time performance insights and AI-assisted monitoring.
This latest expansion reinforces GTT’s commitment to secure cloud networking and global service delivery, supporting mission-critical applications with scalable infrastructure across six continents.
