Huawei-Symantec, a joint venture formed to develop leading-edge security and storage appliances, will use RMI’s multi-core multi-threaded processors for its storage and security appliances, including the USG9000 and the USG6000. Huawei-Symantec also announced the introduction of the Joint Venture’s first unified security gateway device.
