Obopay, a start-up based in Redwood City, California, raised $29 million in third round funding for its payments-by-mobile service.
Obopay delivers instant payment solutions that allow consumers, merchants, banks and carriers to embrace mobile payments. The company has alliances with Verizon Wireless, Citi, and America Online.
