Royal Philips Electronics, Samsung and T3G collaborated on the development of a TD-SCDMA video phone for the Chinese market.
The dual-mode Samsung video phone, which combines Philips EDGE Nexperia cellular system solution with a TD-SCDMA processor developed by Philips and T3G and a protocol stack developed by T3G, will be available on China’s 3G network as soon as operator licenses are granted, most likely in Q2 2006.
