Procera Lands Big Order, Expands Executive Team

Procera Networks has received a $6 million, second follow-on order from a leading North American Cable MSO. This second follow-on order comes just six months after the MSO awarded an initial $2 million follow-on order in April 2011. The Procera PacketLogic platform is being deployed in all of the MSO’s geographies, replacing a leading competitor. Procera first won the operator’s business in 2010 and expects further growth as the operator expands its footprint and continues the competitive replacement.

Procera also announced the creation of two new C-level positions at the company; Chief Strategy Officer to be filled by former Procera Vice President of Global Marketing, Jon Lindén, and Chief Scientist to be held by Peter Alm, a founder of Procera. At the same time, Cam Cullen, formerly Procera’s Vice President of Product Management, has been appointed Vice President of Global Marketing, with an expanded marketing support team reporting to him. http://www.proceranetworks.com
