Teknovus and Fiberxon, a leading supplier of optics for the PON market, announced cooperation in the development of Teknovus’ Turbo EPON solutions, beginning with 2.5G. Teknovus’ Turbo EPON solutions encompass Fiberxon’s advanced transceivers, enabling an easy upgrade to higher speeds by the use of Fiberxon’s dual-speed ONU transceivers.
The companies have been collaborating since 2005. Teknovus and Fiberxon have also begun cooperation on 10G EPON reference designs.
