NVIDIA Scales AI-Driven Vehicle Platforms

NVIDIA is expanding its automotive ecosystem, delivering AI-powered solutions across the entire transportation sector, from passenger vehicles to autonomous trucks. Automakers, suppliers, and mobility innovators are adopting NVIDIA’s full-stack platforms to accelerate the design, simulation, and deployment of AI-driven systems for both in-vehicle applications and cloud-based development.

General Motors is collaborating with NVIDIA to integrate platforms such as DRIVE AGX and Omniverse Cosmos to power next-generation electric vehicles and optimize factory planning. Volvo Cars and its software subsidiary Zenseact are using NVIDIA DGX systems for AI model training and NVIDIA DRIVE AGX for real-time in-vehicle processing. Lenovo and robotics company Nuro are building Level 4 autonomous systems with NVIDIA DRIVE AGX as the core compute platform. In the trucking sector, companies such as Gatik, Uber Freight, and Torc are integrating DRIVE AGX into autonomous freight operations to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.

NVIDIA is also advancing simulation and AI toolkits for AV development. The company’s Cosmos world foundation models (WFMs) and Omniverse Blueprint are helping developers like Plus, Foretellix, and Mcity create more realistic sensor simulations for autonomous driving. At the same time, new NVIDIA NIM microservices are accelerating deployment of AV stacks with transformer-based perception models like BEVFormer and SparseDrive. Inside the vehicle, partners such as Cerence AI and SoundHound are enhancing driver experiences using NVIDIA AI Enterprise, combining generative AI and edge computing with the DRIVE AGX platform.

• Cerence AI and SoundHound enhance in-vehicle user experiences using NVIDIA AI Enterprise and DRIVE AGX.

• NVIDIA Halos offers a full-stack safety solution for autonomous vehicle deployment.
